Adhesives
magrip 5.2kg stud adhesive Stud adhesive is used in conjunction with nails or screws to fix plasterboard to timber or metal stud frames.
bca20 20kg Boral Plasterboard brand cornice adhesive Cornice adhesive is used mainly to glue cornices and other ornamental plaster products in place. Other uses for cornice adhesive include, back blocking, patching, gluing plasterboard to masonry surfaces and can be used as a base coat for joining plasterboard. As Cornice adhesive will set faster the more it is mixed, use for jointing is best for small jobs. This can save you needing to buy base coat as well as cornice adhesive on small projects.

Ring Shank Nails
ri30p 30mm ring shank clouts 2.5kg packets Ring shank nails are used for pine fames. If you have a hardwood frame, (which is very rare in new houses today), more likely in renovations, you should use smooth shank nails as ring shank nails have a tendency to bend going into hardwood.

Tape
ft90 90m fiberglass tape Self adhesive fiberglass tape for joining plasterboard. Fiberglass tape should only be used on recessed edge wall joins. It should never be used on villaboard, internal angles or butt joints. We do not recommend use on ceiling joints even with back blocking.
pt75 75m paper tape Paper tape for joining plasterboard. Paper tape is the strongest tape for plastering and should always be used for internal corners, butt joints, villaboard and ceiling joints.
fpt30 30m Flexi paper tape Stiffened paper tape used for obtuse internal and external angles. Works best on shorter runs up to 2.4m as it can be a bit difficult to keep straight over longer runs.

Stopping Bead
p1224 2.4m 10mm stopping bead Stopping beads cap off the end of plasterboard. Used when a clean finish is required usually where plasterboard abuts a different surface. Very similar to a casing bead but leaves no edge when stopped up. Stopping angle has replaced the use of stopping bead in many applications, as stopping angle can be attached after the plasterboard is fixed in place.
